Better access during busier weeks of session
Wollongong Campus Library will open to UOW students and staff for extended hours from 28 April to 25 June 2025 (Week 8 to end of Autumn Session exams).
We will open from 7am – 2am Monday to Friday and 8am – 12am Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays during key study weeks to give you access to the Library when you need it most.
During this period, alumni and guests can continue to access the Library Monday to Friday 7 am – 10 pm, and Saturday to Sunday 8 am – 8 pm.
Key points:
- Library open 7 am till 2 am Monday to Friday
- Library staff on hand to help you till 10 pm weeknights, and 8 pm on weekends
- Opening hours aligned to busiest session dates (Week 8 to end of exams)
- Ground Floor access includes kitchenette, computers and printing
- Security onsite for your safety (bring your student/staff card for ID)
Safety and security after dark
UOW Security will be onsite to ensure your safety and wellbeing. UOW Security provide after dark safety escorts from the Library to motor vehicles and bus stops either on Wollongong campus or Northfields Avenue.
After dark safety escorts can be requested via the SafeZone app, which all students and staff are encouraged to download for use in case of an emergency.
